About this program

Members ages 18+. This 4-week class is for couples in a stable, committed relationship. Both partners must attend all sessions, but only one partner should register. This class is taught by health educators and isn't couples therapy. It teaches skills for communicating and connecting. This class doesn’t meet the requirements for court-ordered counseling and isn’t appropriate for couples experiencing domestic violence or severe, untreated mental health or substance use issues. At the heart of a healthy relationship is good communication. Learn ways to bring up difficult topics, reduce defensiveness, and understand each other's perspective. This is the first of 4 sessions. Staff will book the remaining sessions after you attend the first session. Mark your calendars now for all 4 sessions. Duration: 2 hours
