About this facility

Flu and COVID-19 shots are now available at this medical center. Schedule your appointment by completing an E-visit on kp.org.

Now available for members: self-service check-in for laboratory services.

Starting June 1, 2022- COVID testing will be done in a POD adjacent to the parking complex at SBMC. Please follow these steps starting JUNE 1, 2022:

1. Park in the garage.
2. Exit garage on ground floor.
3. Turn left immediately into the white POD with canopy.
4. Enter the POD to check in and be swabbed.
A staff member in protective equipment will greet you in the POD and perform a swab.

At the POD, please be ready:
  • Have your Kaiser Permanente insurance card and photo ID ready to present when you check in
  • Arrive on time
  • Wear a protective face covering; lower the covering only when told to do so.
  • Ensure a parent/guardian can provide consent at the appointment time for members under 18 years of age,

The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
