Female external genitalia.

The external female genitalia (vulva) include:

  • The opening of the vagina and the urethra.
  • The labia majora and minora. These are folds of skin that surround the opening of the vagina and urethra.
  • The clitoris. It is a small, sensitive structure that becomes stimulated during sexual activity.
