This medication is used to treat a certain viral skin infection (molluscum contagiosum).

Read the Patient Information Leaflet and Instructions for Use if available from your pharmacist before you start using berdazimer and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Wash and dry your hands before preparing and applying the medication. This product comes as a gel in 2 tubes. The gels must be placed on the Dosing Guide and mixed as directed before using on the skin. Once mixed, the medication should be used right away. Do not premix the gel or store the mixed gel for later use.

This medication is for use on the skin only. Apply a thin film of this medication to the affected area (bumps) as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. Wash your hands after applying, unless you are treating your hands. Avoid getting this medication in your eyes, mouth, vagina, open wounds, or unaffected skin. If this happens, rinse right away with plenty of water.

Wait at least 10 minutes to allow the medication to dry before putting clothes over the area. Do not swim, bathe, or shower for at least 1 hour after applying the medication.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day.

Tell your doctor if your condition does not get better or if it gets worse.

Pain, itching, swelling, peeling, redness or change in skin color may occur at the treated area. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Remember that this medication has been prescribed because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including:

• pain/itching/swelling/redness at the treated area that lasts for more than 24 hours

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including:

• rash
• itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat)
• severe dizziness
• trouble breathing

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history.

Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).

During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

It is unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.

Drug interactions may change how your medications work or increase your risk for serious side effects. This document does not contain all possible drug interactions. Do not share this medication with others.

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Apply your next dose at the regular time. Do not apply extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

Store at room temperature away from moisture. Do not freeze. This product is flammable. Keep it away from heat and open flame. This product expires 60 days after you receive it from the pharmacy. Keep all medications away from children and pets.

Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company.
