Where I practice
About me
Originally from Northern California, I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with honors from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, and I’m now board-certified in internal medicine.
My husband and I were thrilled to move our family to Hawaii when our children were in kindergarten and second grade, so they could grow up surrounded by the culture and spirit of aloha.
About my practice
I’ve always been drawn to science, medicine, and finding ways to give back to my community. But what truly inspired me to become a physician was the human connection — the chance to make a difference in people’s lives every day. It all started with a medical education class I took in high school that sparked my curiosity, and with my family's constant encouragement, that spark grew into a calling. When it came time to choose a specialty, internal medicine stood out because it brings together so many of the areas I’m most passionate about — caring for the whole person and building long-term relationships with patients.
I’ve presented on a range of clinical topics, including osteoporosis, nephrology, and geriatrics, and received an award for my research on exercise during pregnancy. My professional interests span primary care, preventive medicine, and nutrition — areas where I can partner with patients to improve long-term health and quality of life.
How I thrive
Laughing, napping, eating fruits and vegetables, and staying active help keep me healthy. I find joy in the simple things — the colors of the ocean, seashells, monarch butterflies on crown flowers, and the calls of exotic birds. I love spending time with friends, my husband and children, and our two French bulldogs and two cats. We also enjoy beachcombing together while watching our son bodyboarding and our daughter swim.

Accommodations for Individuals with Disabilities
Kaiser Permanente is committed to providing accessible facilities, services, and programs for all members, visitors and individuals with disabilities. In compliance with federal and state laws that prohibit discrimination based on disability, Kaiser Permanente provides:

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business and uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
A narrow network is defined as a tailored, tiered or high-performance network that has 80 percent or less overlap with a health plan’s broadest network offered to a member in any type of plan offered by that health plan. Kaiser Permanente does not have a narrow network with respect to its Marketplace plans. Members enrolled in Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) Marketplace plans have access to the same provider networks as members enrolled in all other KFHP plans.
