About me
I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Penn. My medical journey took me to the West Indies, Europe and finally New Mexico. I completed my residency at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program. I feel my residency experience was truly unique where I got to train in the full spectrum of family medicine. This included having an Ob/Gyn, pediatrician, psychologist and clinical pharmacist as faculty in the program.
Science has always been a part of my life with my father being a biochemist. I spent several summers in high school working in my father's research lab and shadowing doctors in the hospital. I was impressed by their patience, friendliness and willingness to teach, all while putting in long hours at the hospital. I find medicine to be rewarding, eye opening and humbling at the same time.
About my practice
I am proud to work as a family medicine clinician at Kaiser Permanente. I see members of all ages, from newborns to our geriatric members. I have a special interest in pediatrics and diabetes. My practice philosophy is practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine. Educating patients, helping them make better choices about their health and seeing positive results is very rewarding.
I am excited to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente team. It is refreshing to work for an organization that truly cares about the health of its members and our community by having clinical pharmacists for diabetic education, nutritionists and exercise classes for our members. I love working in a supportive department and continuing to meet the other great practitioners and staff across our organization.
How I thrive
Work/life balance is very important. Regular exercise and healthy eating habits help me thrive. I enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, listening to music, reading, being out in the city and spending time with friends. I am fortunate to have close family here in Atlanta and especially enjoy spending time with my two adorable nieces.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.
If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
