About me
I grew up in Conyers, Ga., the daughter of two community-oriented primary care physicians. From a young age, I watched my parents use their talents to help our small town become healthier and more active. I realized quickly that being a good doctor was not just about knowing how to treat medical problems; it was also about building relationships. The bonds that can develop between a doctor and his or her patients are built on trust and respect, eventually creating a team approach towards health. My parents showed me that the art of medicine means not using a "one size fits all" approach. Each patient deserves personalized care. Throughout my career, I have strived to develop these same types of relationships with my own patients, and I look forward to working alongside you on your path to wellness.
About my practice
So, what exactly is a urogynecologist? I specialize in caring for women with "pelvic floor dysfunction." This includes pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, recurrent urinary tract infections, bladder pain, problems with bowel movements and anal incontinence. I offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment options, tailored to your needs. I am trained in minimally invasive surgeries for urogynecologic problems, which means that most patients can go home the same day with a short recovery period. I also have a focused practice in transgender pelvic health. I treat gender non-conforming patients leading up to gender affirmation surgery as well as after surgery. I specialize in sexual health and urinary dysfunction for patients after affirmation surgery.
How I thrive
I thrive when I am with my wife and our daughter. We love being back in beautiful Georgia and try to spend every weekend doing something outdoors, whether it is going for a hike or having a picnic in the park. We have also been enjoying rediscovering the Atlanta food scene. I am always open to restaurant suggestions!

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
