About me
I grew up in the warm, close-knit community of Valdosta, Ga. My roots in South Georgia have profoundly influenced my path in life, inspiring me to pursue a career dedicated to serving others. My choice to practice medicine stemmed from a deep desire to give back to the community that raised me. I believe in the power of health care to transform lives and am committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our members.
After completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, I ventured to the American University of Antigua to earn my medical degree. My journey continued with a transitional year of residency in Macon, Ga., followed by a family medicine residency in Moultrie, Ga. Now based in Atlanta, I practice primary care medicine, where I can build lasting relationships with individuals and families, guiding them through every stage of life.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish the time spent with my family. Their support and love have been instrumental in my journey. I am passionate about contributing to the health and well-being of my Atlanta community, and I look forward to partnering with my patients on their health care journeys.
About my practice
In my primary care practice, I am dedicated to providing patient-centered, comprehensive care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. My professional philosophy centers around the belief that health care should be a partnership between the physician and patient, built on trust, respect, and open communication. I strive to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and valued.
I treat a wide range of conditions, from acute illnesses to chronic diseases, with a focus on preventive care to help our members maintain optimal health. My approach involves understanding each patient's lifestyle, health history, and personal goals to tailor treatment plans that are both effective and manageable.
We serve a diverse population, and I employ various medical techniques, including collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and using evidence-based therapies, to provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to empower patients through education and support, helping them make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
How I thrive
Thriving in mind, body, and spirit is a holistic journey that I embrace wholeheartedly to lead a harmonious and fulfilling life.
For the mind, I believe in continuous learning and mental stimulation, which I achieve through reading, exploring new ideas, and engaging in meaningful conversations. Meditation and mindfulness practices also play a vital role in maintaining mental clarity and reducing stress.
Physically, I thrive by staying active with balanced nutrition and regular exercise. Running, hiking, and yoga connect me with nature and keep me fit. Recently, I have found a new passion for pickleball, which combines fun, fitness, and social interaction. I also enjoy cooking, as it allows me to experiment to create healthy and delicious meals.
Spiritually, I find fulfillment through community involvement and helping others. Practicing gratitude and compassion, I maintain a positive outlook on life, finding joy in small moments and deep connections with loved ones. Additionally, I have a passion for traveling, which broadens my horizons and deepens my appreciation for diverse cultures.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
