About me
I was born and raised in Connecticut. I attended college at the University of Pennsylvania and medical school at Temple University School of Medicine. Upon graduating from medical school, I completed my residency at the University of Chicago. After living in Chicago for six years and working for a hospital, I then moved to New Jersey where I joined a private practice. In 2005, I moved to Atlanta with my husband and our children and have truly enjoyed the warmth of the South! I knew I wanted to be pediatrician since the age of nine. Many of my relatives are teachers, so the love of working with children is in my genes. I was also fascinated with health and biology and decided to merge the things I enjoyed the most into a career in pediatrics. I have never regretted my decision, and I have always considered it an honor to take care of the most precious members of one's family. My own family consists of my husband, our four children and our dog, Duke. We love to travel and play sports outdoors. In addition, I love to tour historical homes, read and exercise to the "Insanity" workout DVD.
About my practice
My approach to pediatrics is to listen carefully to my patients and parents. You can find out so much more by listening and doing a thorough physical exam than you can by ordering lab tests, X-rays or other expensive procedures. I love being able to educate families about their children's health so that they are more informed and feel confident in their ability to care for their children. I believe my role as a pediatrician is to help guide families toward helping their children thrive as they develop into healthy, young adults.
How I thrive
I enjoy exercising and have recently started meditation. It is so important to keep your body and mind in its best condition. I find that reading is extremely relaxing, and I love to curl up with a good book when I have the time. What I enjoy the most is spending time with my children. We like to go for walks, play at the park, exercise and explore the different attractions that Georgia has to offer.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.
If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
