About me
I am a licensed professional counselor and clinical rehabilitation counselor. I attended Emory University, where I received my bachelor's degree in history. After many years working in the health and human services field, I decided to expand my work in this area and pursued an advanced degree in counseling at Georgia State University. I have been practicing as a mental health therapist since 2018, working in both private practice settings and community mental health. I am the mother of three children, who keep me on my toes when I am not at work. I am also an avid animal lover who enjoys spending time with my pup, Stella.

I am a compassionate, open and welcoming therapist who thrives on working with individuals who wish to live their lives more fully.
I have a passion for learning and expanding my ability to further help our members. I primarily operate from an acceptance and commitment therapy lens, where I help clients cope with the challenges of their experiences while also guiding them to live their lives in a values-congruent way. I approach each member with an open mind, seeking to better understand each person's life experiences. Whether you are dealing with ongoing anxiety and depression, substance use, family-building challenges, or simply want to cope with the stressors of daily living, I am ready with an open mind to help work through your struggles.
How I thrive
I thrive by focusing on wellness and peace within my life. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, who help me stay balanced and keep things in perspective. I also love to play tennis and spend time outside. I thrive by helping individuals and families in need of clarity in terms of their mental health and wellness.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.
If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
