I reside in Lithonia with my wife and two children. I also am a former collegiate track and field record-holder, and I am an avid golfer and fisherman. My wife and I have recently completed a children's book on childhood obesity, "The Tale of Two Athletes: The Story of Jumper and the Thumper." We have developed a multi-disciplinary approach that incorporates mental health, nutrition and exercise to tackle childhood obesity through an inspirational children's story.
I owned and operated my own practice for nearly 20 years prior to joining Kaiser Permanente. I am still a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry for Morehouse School of Medicine, and I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I began working for Kaiser Permanente in March 2012, and I now practice child, adolescent and adult psychiatry in Kaiser Permanente's Behavioral Health Department.
I try to live life to its full potential each day. I believe that keeping a positive mental attitude brings balance to your life. Kaiser Permanente believes in health and wellness through keeping a healthy mind, body and spirit. It is a pleasure to be part of an organization that truly wants its members to thrive!

The information in this online directory is updated periodically. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. Before receiving care at a facility, select that location in our directory and verify the accepted plan types under "About this facility" to make sure it is available in your plan. If no plan types are listed, the facility is available for all plan types.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
