About me
I am originally from Quebec, Canada, and I graduated from Sherbrooke University. When I began medical school, I knew that I wanted to be a family doctor. I find that being a family practice physician helps me be closer to my patients. In the first eight years of my medical career, I practiced in a small city doing hospitalization, nursing home care, obstetrics and treating outpatients in a private practice clinic.In 2003, we moved to Georgia for my husband's job. My career changed slightly when I began working for Kaiser Permanente, and we have never regretted our choice to move to Georgia!I have a son and daughter, and even with my busy schedule, it is important to have quality time with them.
About my practice
Like all of my colleagues, I am proud to work for Kaiser Permanente. I have found Kaiser Permanente truly helps me care for my patients through our prevention programs, diabetes classes, clinical pharmacists and electronic medical records.A pill is not always the treatment you need and listening is the beginning of good care. It is the best way to be able to get a high-quality diagnosis and also allows me to understand our members' expectations best. It is important that we work as a team, and I prefer our members to stay in the middle of this decision-making process. I feel privileged to be able to make a difference our members' lives.
How I thrive
My husband and I love to travel and cook. We have bought a cookbook from each country we have visited. I enjoy learning about other cultures.We also enjoy spending time with our friends. They are so important when all of your family is abroad!During the summer, we boat on Lake Allatoona. I enjoy exercise: walking, hiking and biking. I also like to read, especially about psychology.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.
If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
