About me
Graduating from medical school was a childhood dream that came true for me. This was only possible due to the untiring efforts of my parents, their unwavering support and confidence in me. After completing medical school in Hyderabad, India, I decided to pursue further training in the U.S. This took me to the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology. I later joined the faculty there as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia's Division of Nephrology.
About my practice
Superior patient care starts with attention to a patient's story, discussion of the underlying problems and reviewing the realistic goals of management. Kidney disease is multi-faceted. Therefore, a multidisciplinary team approach is essential. My goal is to provide the most comprehensive care to our members. I consider Kaiser Permanente to be an excellent team comprised of primary care physicians, specialists, pharmacists, dietitians and a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system.
How I thrive
The secret to my success truly lies in my extremely supportive wife. She is a compassionate mom and a fabulous cook. I am greeted every evening by her warm personality and my three charming kids. I plan to spend more quality time with my family and explore Atlanta and the rest of the Southeast U.S. in the coming years.I enjoy playing soccer, cricket, tennis and swimming. I am trying hard to get back in shape after a knee injury last year, which required surgery. I pray regularly and try to be involved with religious activities locally as this is crucial for my spiritual well-being.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
