Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Female
Yes, I’m accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I grew up in Paris, Tenn., which is home of the World's Biggest Fish Fry. I moved to Alabama to attend college and play basketball at Birmingham-Southern College. Afterwards, I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received my master's degree in nursing in acute and primary care pediatrics.
I am a blessed wife and a mother to a very active little boy. My family is my daily reminder of how priceless life is, which makes me strive to make the best of everything. I love challenges because that is what makes me a better person and a better health care provider.
I chose to become a pediatric nurse practitioner because not only do I love interacting with children, but childhood is such a crucial time for growth and development. I am honored and thrilled to be able to help parents and children make the best decisions about their health care needs. I strive to make sure my practice is a setting where children are at ease and to provide an open discussion environment.
The precious moments spent with my family give my life meaning. My greatest blessing in life is my son. I am an outdoor fanatic and I love football (Go Vols!). I enjoy traveling, fishing, hiking and just playing in the mud. Sunshine and a good laugh is my favorite way to cope with the daily stressors of life.
