I grew up in a small town near Pittsburgh. Since I was a young girl, my friends and others would share their problems with me and ask me for advice. Choosing a career in family medicine resonated with who I have always been.
While attending college in the Chicago area, I met my husband. Fourteen years later, we started our family. We have two energetic boys who are the focus of our family life. My time with them is very precious to me.
About my practice
The focus of my practice is in caring for adults as they move through all stages of life. Along the journey we can face many various health challenges. However, I believe wellness is a state of being, and even those who have chronic diseases can find a place of well-being. The mental state can influence the choices one makes about his or her health. I see my role as a guide, motivator and educator who assists members in making good medical decisions.
How I thrive
I maintain a vibrant spiritual life and strive to be optimistic despite the day-to-day stressors. Keeping a sense of humor is vital. During my free time, I participate in a cooking club and outreach programs with my local church.
