Where I practice
About me
As a licensed professional counselor and Atlanta native, I am dedicated to advancing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and expanding access to quality care for Kaiser Permanente members. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Clark Atlanta University and my master's degree in community counseling from Argosy University in 2013. My clinical experience spans psychiatric residential treatment facilities and outpatient settings, where I have specialized in trauma informed care. Guided by a passion for healing and empowerment, I strive to create safe, culturally responsive spaces that support resilience, growth, and lasting change for individuals seeking care.
About my practice
My practice is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to be heard, understood, and empowered. As a therapist, I view my role as a voice amplifier helping patients identify their strengths, clarify their needs, and reclaim their narratives with confidence and purpose. Through a trauma-informed approach, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care that recognizes the impact of life experiences on emotional well-being and personal growth.
I specialize in behavioral health treatment using dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). I work with adults and adolescents (ages 12 and older) experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, life transitions, relationship challenges, LGBTQ issues, and corporate burnout. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic space where members can heal, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
How I thrive
Outside of my work as a therapist, I thrive by embracing total wellness and living a life grounded in connection, purpose, and balance. I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures, engaging in community activism, nurturing my growing collection of plants (I am a proud plant mom!), and creating meaningful memories with family and loved ones. These experiences fuel my passion for personal growth, holistic well-being, and building stronger, healthier communities.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
