Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Female
Accepting new patients. Please call 1-800-611-1811.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. My parents, who emigrated from Barbados, West Indies, taught me the value of hard work. I have been blessed with two wonderful children and a supportive spouse, who is also a physician. I am truly thankful for the gifts that I have been given and the ability to take care of our members and my family. These are the most important aspects of my life.
I completed my residency at the University of Massachusetts and spent two years at a hospital in Cambridge, Mass. before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2003. While in Cambridge, I learned the value of encouragement, sensitivity and caring for the whole person and not just the disease. In the practice of medicine, the most important aspect is to listen to your patients and include them in their care. I strive every day to be the best at this while keeping abreast of new information and technology.
My family is very busy! We spend every weekend attending some sporting event with the children, attending church and Sunday school or relaxing with other friends with a similar situation. We love to travel, read and workout at the gym. Staying healthy and fit is very important in our household.
