Where I practice
I grew up in New York City, but have been in the Atlanta area with my wife and our three wonderful children since 2005. I completed my bachelor's degree at Cornell University and my post-baccalaureate at Harvard University. I am board certified in family medicine and am a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. I enjoy teaching our future generation of physicians, and I am a clinical assistant professor in family medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine and at the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
About my practice
I am fortunate to work in an excellent department staffed with outstanding people that make this an enjoyable place to spend my career. My practice is oriented toward educating our members to help them make their own decisions about their health care. Patients, given information and options, are in a much better position to determine the care they want, and I am glad to be part of an organization that embraces this philosophy.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my family - whether exploring different parts of Atlanta, riding our bikes on the Greenway, or spending a relaxing weekend at home. I am active with my church, where I serve as an elder. I have been fortunate to participate or lead several medical mission trips to different countries, and I am currently working on organizing a trip to reach the underserved people in central India.
