About me
Growing up in rural Georgia, I was often filled with anticipation to go into "town" to see our family doctor. Seeing that one consistent person taking care of most of my family inspired me early on to become a doctor. Even in the most difficult times, my family physician was present and supportive. I have more than 20 aunts and uncles, and my large family played a great role in my motivation to pursue my dreams of being in medicine. Although I lived and studied in Boston for many years, I kept them close to my heart because they believed in my ability to succeed. Being part of a large family laid a foundation of humility, sacrifice and honor; qualities I try to display in the medicine I practice.
About my practice
I thoroughly enjoy being a member of the Ambulatory Medicine Department. I am able to provide a service to the community in which I live. I am passionate about educating our members on prevention and wellness. My patients teach me valuable life lessons, and I hope that I am able to provide a knowledgeable, sincere experience for them.
How I thrive
Exercise is crucial for my daily functioning. I start my day with a brisk jog to gather my thoughts. I continue to promote healthy living by volunteering for various events in the community. I am also an active member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. I love spending time with my family and my rambunctious Bichon Frise. Salsa dancing, traveling to new destinations, and attending concerts and sporting events are just a few activities I enjoy when I am not working.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
