About me
I am originally from upstate New York - so far upstate that Canada was practically in my backyard! I slowly began my migration south in the late 1990s, completing my medical school training at Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School. I later moved across the river to NYC's famous Greenwich Village where I completed my pediatric training at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center. Since completing my training in 2007, we have continued to migrate further south, practicing in private practice until joining the Kaiser Permanente family in 2012. We briefly detoured to Virginia in 2015 where I was also a Kaiser Permanente physician before ultimately returning home to Georgia in 2019.
About my practice
As the eldest child in my family, pediatrics has often felt like a natural extension of the caregiver I have always been. I truly believe pediatricians have "the best job in the world" because we are given the unique opportunity to watch our patients and families grow and develop year after year. I am constantly in awe of the strength and resilience of my patients and their families and enjoy treating, teaching, assisting and advocating on their behalf. My particular interests include ADHD, pediatric obesity and adolescent health. I work alongside a great group of pediatricians, nurses and clinical staff who very often go above and beyond to ensure our members get the best care we can provide.
How I thrive
My husband and I met in high school and together we have three children and a dog (our fur baby). My personal interests include reading (I love losing myself in a good book), traveling (I have hiked up a Greek volcano, had Turkish coffee in Turkey and drank daiquiris in Cuba) and cooking (I am not too shabby in the kitchen). I recently rediscovered yoga, try to mediate daily and am a member of the Peloton community.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
