About me
I grew up in a small town in northeast Georgia, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Living there stoked a love of nature and the outdoors and of living things all around us. Even today I enjoy seeing the plants in my office grow bigger with the passing weeks. I enjoy spending time with my family by going to the park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden or to the beach. Ever since I knew I wanted to be a doctor, I knew I wanted to practice internal medicine. I get to see the relationship that a good internist has with her or his patients, and the healthy, happy life that can result.
About my practice
I am part of a group of adult primary care physicians who are devoted to their patients. Everyone, from the nurses, to doctors, to the non-clinical staff is seeking to create a welcoming and collaborative environment. We want our members to be involved in their care, so they can live a fulfilling and healthy life.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with my family. There is nothing like hearing the laughter of someone you love, seeing the smile on their face, or getting a hug after a tough day. Another way I thrive is by exercising. I enjoy working out the stress of the day and the feeling of accomplishment that happens when I am done. I love to learn about plants native to the southeastern United States. One day, I hope my garden will thrive with plants welcoming local wildlife to create a healthy, natural environment around me.

Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
