About me
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. My mom was a nurse, so I had significant exposure to medicine early in life and quickly realized my passion for it. I attended medical school at Penn State, where I also completed my internal medicine residency and chief resident year. I moved to Atlanta for my gastroenterology fellowship at Emory, where I also met my wife. After finishing training, we moved back to Pennsylvania for a few years and were fortunate to welcome two baby girls during that time. Ultimately, we missed Atlanta and are so happy to be back in the area.
About my practice
I am a general gastroenterologist and see patients with all gastrointestinal and liver diseases, though I do have a specific interest in inflammatory bowel disease. I utilize evidence-based care with all my patients to ensure high-quality care while avoiding unneeded testing or treatments. I take pride in access with our members and strive to respond to any concerns or questions as soon as possible. I am fortunate to be part of a practice with other excellent providers and feel confident that our team will provide you with the best possible care.
How I thrive
My family is everything. Nothing beats a Sunday morning making breakfast with my wife and daughters while my dog sneaks in a few treats. I also strive to stay active both mentally and physically. Long distance running while listening to a good podcast has become my favorite hobby. I am an avid college football fan (We Are!) and am excited to be back in the capital of the sport.

If no plan types are listed, the facility is available for all plan types.
Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
