About me

I was born and raised in California and transplanted to Georgia in 2014. My family and friends seemed to always come to me for health advice and this is how I realized my passion for health care. I often found myself researching ways which I could help them. I would spend hours wandering through the natural health store and the bookstore reading and buying books about health subjects that interested me. I knew I needed to do something with my growing appreciation for everything health and my longing to help everyone I encounter become healthier. I remember always feeling so encouraged and warm when helping others.

I started my nursing career in 2006. I knew my decision was meant to be when I was recognized by a patient I had cared for while in nursing school. The patient told me how scared she was during her preoperative care and how I helped her get through surgery with my encouraging words and compassion.

About my practice

I earned my bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University and my master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from Chamberlain University. I began my career in ICU/critical care and eventually moved to labor and delivery. It was here where I realized my true passion, which is women's health.

I am so very grateful for every opportunity and experience I have been blessed with through the years. I take the health and well-being of every life I touch seriously and always work to treat others the way I would want to be treated. We are all human and all have our own unique needs and feelings. I believe everyone should be treated with compassion and dignity. I will forever strive to do my best to meet the needs of all lives I am so blessed to be part of.

How I thrive

When I am not in the office, I am spending time with my three children, husband, and two dogs. We love enjoying the outdoors by hiking, swimming, and seeing new sights. I also enjoy keeping myself in shape through strength training and healthy cooking, which my children love to do with me.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.

Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
