About me
I was born in California, but spent most of my childhood in a small college town in Oklahoma called Stillwater. My family is mostly engineers and I pursued a degree in chemical engineering, but was drawn to medicine because I wanted to make an impact on people's lives. I ultimately decided to choose radiation oncology because it married my interests in engineering and medicine. I have a lovely wife who is a ceramist and a cute Maltese-Yorkie named Clover, whom I adore.
About my practice
We have an incredible team in the Radiation Oncology Department. From the nurses to the therapists to the administrative staff, it is an absolute honor to work here. I know that cancer can be a scary diagnosis, and my goal is to distill the information I know into an easy to understand and manageable plan for each patient. I treat all patients with cancer, but will specialize in patients with gynecologic cancers. I trained at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and have had extensive training in a special type of internal radiation called brachytherapy.
How I thrive
I am a big homebody and definitely an introvert. At home, I like to cook, play video games with my family, and spend time with our dog. I like to cook all different kinds of cuisines including Chinese, Korean, Indian, Greek, Mexican, and of course American food. As a family, we are exploring Atlanta and trying to go to every park in the metroplex. I also try to exercise each day, although eating is a lot easier than exercising!

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
