About me
I am happy to call Atlanta my home, as it has been just that multiple times over the course of my life. I have lived all over the United States, but I always seem to find my way back to Atlanta. I enjoy life in the suburbs with my young son and daughter, and in close vicinity to my amazing parents. Family is important to me, and so is working in a setting that feels like family. Quite honestly, I chose medicine because of my love of surgery. Since becoming a PA in 2005, I have come to find that enjoying my interactions with patients and caring for them through the entire surgical process is even more fulfilling than just loving surgery alone.
About my practice
My goal as a practitioner is to provide optimal patient care with a focus on patient education. I believe that patients are not always given all the information that they need to be true participants in their own care and decision-making. I am happy to work in a place where I am encouraged to spend the appropriate amount of time with our members and to have their best interests as my primary focus. I spent two years as an orthopedic PA and have been a plastic surgery PA since 2007. I have experience with aesthetic plastic surgery, as well as plastic surgery that is medically necessary. I always want to make our members feel that I am committed to doing the best job for them that I can.
How I thrive
I thrive on personal connections and a focus on healthy living. There is nothing more important to me in life than the people in my life. My children, family and friends are my greatest assets. Above all else, I enjoy spending time with my kids and watching them grow into amazing little people. After having children, I became focused on becoming the best example I could be for them. That especially involved eating healthier and becoming more active. I started out as a participant in Operation Boot Camp and quickly became an instructor. This has been a wonderful way for me to stay in shape and create new friendships.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
