Where I practice
I am a Southern girl born in a small town in Alabama but raised in the capitol city of Montgomery. Growing up in the South, I was raised by my mother who instilled in me that hard work was an essential tool to a successful life. My mother was a middle school teacher for over 30 years and during that time her compassion and dedication for her students was always evident in her delivery of a quality education. I have tried to exhibit those same characteristics in my own life and career. I decided as a young child that becoming a physician would be my lifelong dream. I have had the wonderful opportunity to serve families in three states including Alabama, Georgia and New Jersey over the past 20 years of my career.
About my practice
I am a member of the Kaiser Permanente Department of Pediatrics. My focus in pediatrics is on well-child visits and immunizations, but more importantly, I would like to assist parents in caring for their little ones with the utmost confidence. We care for children from infancy to age 21.
How I thrive
I definitely value family as an integral portion of the whole person. That being said, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful daughter who likes reading and traveling. In addition to spending time with my family, I am an active member of my local church where I sing in the choir and have plans to become active with our global missions team. I also play an active part in my community by serving with the local graduate chapter of my sorority. My motto is, "To whom much is given, much is required."
