With a broad range of cosmetic services in a caring environment, you can feel comfortable knowing you'll be taken care of by a medical team interested in your unique needs.

Our competitively priced services are offered at over 20 locations throughout Northern California, and are available to both Kaiser Permanente members and nonmembers. You can choose from a range of advanced skin care products and services, laser treatments, nonsurgical services, and surgical services.

These services are offered on a fee-for-service basis, separate from your Kaiser Permanente health plan benefits.


Skin care products and services

At Kaiser Permanente Cosmetic Services, we offer product lines available only in physicians’ offices. Our estheticians can customize your skin care routine to address your concerns and help you keep your skin fresh and healthy. Skin care services include peels, microdermabrasion, and facials.


Laser and nonsurgical services

Laser and nonsurgical services such as Botox and fillers could be the subtle change you need to help you look your best. Nonsurgical treatments can help remove unwanted hair, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, or treat skin discoloration quickly and safely. We offer:

  • Laser hair removal
  • Botox and fillers (such as Juvéderm and Restylane)
  • Laser skin resurfacing
  • Treatment of leg and face veins
  • Removal of brown spots and tattoos
  • Removal of skin tags and moles

Cosmetic surgery services
Considering more permanent enhancements? Our cosmetic surgery department features a multispecialty team of physicians and health care professionals who are experts in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. We offer a wide range of cosmetic surgery services, including:

  • Breast enhancement and lift
  • Cosmetic eyelid, nose, cheek, chin, and lip surgery
  • Cosmetic ear surgery and earlobe repair
  • Facelift, and forehead and brow lift
  • Liposuction and tummy tuck

Our ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians work together to take care of all your eye care needs, including:

If you need eyeglasses — or a great pair of sunglasses — you'll find a broad selection quality frames and lenses at competitive prices. Our fashion eyewear lines include Dior, Gucci, Calvin Klein, and Armani.

We guarantee our frames and lenses against defects in workmanship or breakage for one year after you get them — no questions asked. And we do minor repairs and adjustments, free of charge.

Prefer contact lenses? Our optometrists help you choose the right lenses for you and offer personalized follow-up care to make sure your lenses provide sharp vision and comfort.

We offer a wide range of solutions, supplies, and contact lenses for even the most challenging prescriptions.

Protect your eyes

Choose from a full range of industrial safety eyewear to protect your eyes — on the job or at home.

All our industrial safety glasses comply with current American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards and carry an unconditional one-year warranty. If they are defective or damaged for any reason, we'll replace them free of charge.


Our low-vision services
Low vision is a significant loss of vision, but not total blindness. If you have low vision, our low-vision specialists can evaluate your vision and prescribe one or more magnifying aids to meet your specific needs.

Low-vision examinations may be covered as part of your health plan benefits. Often some or all of the cost of assistive devices is also covered by your benefits.

Hearing services

When you're living with hearing loss, some of your most cherished activities can become difficult and uncomfortable. It doesn't have to be that way. Kaiser Permanente operates 18 Hearing Centers throughout Northern California serving health plan members and non-members alike.

The audiologists and staff members at each of the Hearing Centers are dedicated to providing you with high quality service and the latest technological innovations in hearing health. All of our services are tailored to your needs, your budget, and your lifestyle. These services include:

  • Professional hearing aids and accessories
  • A wide selection of technologically advanced hearing aids
  • Fitting and follow-up from a licensed audiologist
  • Full manufacturers’ repair and loss/damage warranties

If you think you or a loved one has a hearing loss, call the Hearing Center nearest you to schedule an appointment for a screening. You do not need a referral from your primary care physician.

Check your Evidence of Coverage to see if audiology tests and hearing aids are covered in your benefits or are available on a fee-for-service basis.

You want to start a family, but it hasn't been easy. At the Kaiser Permanente Centers for Reproductive Health, your dream is in good hands. Whether or not you are a Kaiser Permanente member, you can take advantage of compassionate, high-quality and personalized care provided by a team that is with you every step of your journey.

Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health has full-service fertility clinic locations in the Sacramento Valley and throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Services include:

  • In vitro fertilization (IVF)
  • Genetic services
  • Male infertility services
  • Donor sperm insemination
  • Egg donor programs
  • Gestational surrogacy

When you visit our state-of-the-art Center for Reproductive Health, you'll find an expert team of doctors and embryologists who utilize advanced equipment and innovative technologies to provide you with the best medical treatments available. If you're a Kaiser Permanente member, our electronic medical record system allows your infertility physician to see a total picture of your health so they can recommend the fertility treatment that's right for your unique needs.

Laser vision correction

The decision to undergo a vision correction procedure is an important one. The choice of where to trust your eyes is just as important. With so many providers offering LASIK and other vision correction services, sometimes it is hard to know whom to trust.

With Kaiser Permanente, you can feel confident knowing that you'll be treated by an organization familiar with your medical history and your unique needs. Your refractive surgeon will be with you from the initial consultation and will remain involved with your care even after your procedure. You'll be cared for by an excellent team of health care professionals dedicated to giving you the best possible outcome.

Our laser vision correction services are offered to KP members and non-members, on a fee-for-service basis, and include:

  • An evaluation and thorough preoperative exam
  • Surgery, including use of facilities
  • 12 months of post-operative care

Our laser vision correction services are provided by our team of optometrists, technicians, and physicians, including board-certified ophthalmologists.

Note for premium lenses for cataract patients: If you’ve recently been diagnosed with a cataract and are considering cataract surgery, ask your ophthalmologist about Toric or multi-focus lenses. These lenses, offered on a fee-for-service basis, help correct corneal astigmatism or allow you to see at multiple distances without glasses.

We offer a health-conscious solution that's based on treating the whole you, not just your weight. You'll have a Kaiser Permanente team providing the support, supervision, and expertise you need every step of the way to help you reach your goals.

Our program has three phases: Active Weight Loss, Transition and Early Maintenance, and Long-Term Maintenance – and features:
