Where I practice
I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I earned my medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, and joined the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group in 2001. I have a wonderful husband and two amazing daughters.
About my practice
My decision to specialize in pediatrics was influenced by my love of helping children. Their smiles are contagious and the opportunity to interact with my patients every day is a privilege. Each patient is special to me and helping them to get well is truly fulfilling.I believe in treating my patients with the best care possible. I am able to do this through the great support within the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group. My colleagues and medical staff are incredible and our coordination helps me to provide high quality care to my patients. In addition to practicing medicine, I am helping to lead Kaiser Permanente Hawaii’s Special Delivery Program.
How I thrive
Keeping up with my children and their activities definitely contributes to my active and busy lifestyle. I believe in eating well and exercising whenever possible to help me to stay balanced, healthy and thriving. During my downtime, I enjoy meeting up with friends, dining out, traveling and going to the movies.
