I speak: English
My gender: Female
Where I practice
I was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to Hawaii with my family in 1990. Throughout my childhood my parents emphasized the value of education and hard work. Their advice has served me well in my chosen career.
About my practice
My parents were the biggest influence on my choice of a medical specialty, and I believed that in internal medicine I would be able to do the most for my patients. Reading online journals, UpToDate, and the Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program helps me stay current on the latest medical research. In addition to English, I speak Ilocano and Tagalog. At the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group I enjoy working cooperatively with experienced physicians and learning from them on a daily basis. I appreciate the supportive environment here. My philosophy of care is to do what is best for the patient. I most enjoy face-to-face visits with my patients, learning about their concerns, and assuring them that they will receive the best care available
How I thrive
In my personal time I enjoy participating in outdoor activities with my family. My other favorite pastimes include photography, painting, crafts projects, and reading articles and books.
