Where I practice
I was born in the Philippines and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois called Park Ridge. I earned my medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I completed my family medicine residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
About my practice
I chose to pursue medicine because I wanted a career that would allow me to help people and make a difference every day. Family medicine is a great fit for me, because I enjoy caring for patients in all age groups, from children to adults to the elderly. I was also drawn to the various pathologies (manifestations of a disease or illness) that a family medicine physician encounters.
My philosophy is to provide my patients with care that encompasses all aspects of their well-being, not just their medical issues. I consider my patients to be more than a health record or file, and instead see them as someone’s father or someone’s mother. They are true individuals who deserve the highest-quality-of-care possible. Thanks to the bright and energetic Kaiser Permanente staff who treat patients as if they are their own family members, I'm able to deliver high-quality care.
How I thrive
I run several times a week to stay in shape. In fact, when I have a weekend off, I run races and celebrate at the end by jumping into the ocean. In my free time, I enjoy snorkeling and hiking with friends.
