About me

I am originally from Queens, N.Y., and my journey into medicine was driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in my community. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the challenges many families faced in accessing quality health care, and I felt called to be part of the solution. This passion led me to pursue a career in medicine, where I could work directly with individuals and families to improve health outcomes and promote wellness.

 

I am married and am the proud parent of three children. One of my children has followed a similar path in health care and is now a family nurse practitioner, which has been a source of great pride and inspiration for me.

 

My approach to care is rooted in compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to partnering with patients to meet their health goals. I believe that building strong, trusting relationships with our members is at the heart of effective medical care.

 

About my practice

 

As a primary care nurse practitioner, my approach to patient care is rooted in compassion, education, and prevention. I believe in building strong, collaborative relationships with my patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health. I take time to listen and understand each individual's unique circumstances in order to provide personalized, evidence-based care.

 

I care for patients across the lifespan and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and women's health concerns. I am passionate about promoting wellness, addressing health disparities, and supporting underserved populations to achieve better health outcomes.

 

In addition to direct patient care, I contribute to team-based care initiatives and quality improvement efforts aimed at enhancing the patient experience. I remain committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices to provide high-quality, comprehensive care.

 

How I thrive

 

Each day I stay grounded in my faith, which brings me peace, strength and clarity, and it guides both my personal life and my professional practice. My spiritual foundation is essential to how I show up for others - with compassion, patience, and purpose.

 

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, which is one of my greatest joys. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places, which allows me to recharge and gain fresh perspective. Staying physically active is important to me as well, and I make time for regular workouts to support both my physical and mental well-being.

 

The balance of faith, family, movement, and exploration helps me stay centered and energized so I can be fully present for my patients and the people I care about the most.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
