Where I practice
About me
I am a native of Anderson, S.C., and I am the oldest of three children. My interest in optometry began when I received my first pair of glasses in middle school. That early experience sparked a passion that has grown ever since. After completing my undergraduate studies at University of Georgia, I attended University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where I developed a special interest in ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetes-related conditions, and cataracts. I continued that focus through an ocular disease residency at Omni Eye Services here in Atlanta.
I have had the privilege of caring for patients in a variety of clinical settings throughout the city, and each experience has strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive eye care. I am truly excited to serve the Kaiser Permanente community and to build long-lasting relationships with the patients I meet.
About my practice
My philosophy of care is treat every patient with the same attention and respect I would offer a member of my own family. I place a strong emphasis on patient education because I want each person to leave feeling more confident and informed about their eye health, their vision, and how systemic conditions may affect them. I appreciate the collaborative, integrated model at Kaiser Permanente, as it allows me to partner closely with other health care professionals to provide seamless, coordinated care. My goal is for patients to feel heard, cared for, and supported as we work together to protect their vision and overall well-being.
How I thrive
Family is the heart of my life, and I treasure the time I spend with my husband and son, along with our extended family and friends. I love exploring new cuisines throughout the city and finding opportunities to travel when I can. I am happiest in spaces that bring people together, whether it is a casual gathering or a celebration filled with laughter and connection. I also enjoy giving back to the community through volunteer work, which keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of caring for those around us.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
