About me
I was born in India and moved to the U.S. when I was 4 years old. Growing up, my family and I moved many times, including internationally. I have lived in a total of six different countries including Nigeria, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Grenada, in addition to the US and India. Though difficult at first to adjust to these new places, I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to experience such rich culture and diversity, as it has shaped me into who I am today.
My interest in medicine began when I was an undergraduate student at Emory University. Being in a rich academic environment really opened my mind to the depths of medicine. My love for medicine merged with my love for travel post-grad when I went abroad to volunteer at local hospitals in India and Sri Lanka. These experiences inspired to me to continue to pursue medicine when I returned. I started my medical school journey in Grenada in the Caribbean and completed my training in N.J./N.Y. I decided to stay on the East Coast for my internal medicine residency in Washington D.C. and now I am back in the South, which truly feels full circle.
About my practice
I am excited to be a member of the Kaiser Permanente Adult Medicine Department. I greatly value the doctor-patient relationship and I know it is also in the forefront of Kaiser Permanente's values. A large part of why I chose to pursue primary care was because it allowed me to create meaningful and long-term relationships with patients. I find the most successful clinic visits are when the patient feels heard and understood, and I try my best to work with my support staff to create a respectful and inclusive experience for all, because I truly believe this is an integral part of patient care. I look forward to building strong, lifelong connections with our members.
How I thrive
I thrive when I spend time with my loved ones. When I am not at work, you will find me with my husband and cat watching a TV show at home. My husband and I also enjoy traveling and exploring new cuisines and cultures. Atlanta is the perfect place for us to live out our foodie dreams as it has many diverse foods (and most importantly, desserts!). On the weekends, you will likely find me at a CorePower yoga sculpt class, which is the perfect mix of yoga and HIIT.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
