Where I practice
I grew up and studied medicine in New England and have enjoying living, working, and traveling all around the world. My favorite part about being a doctor is taking care of and getting to know people from all different cultures, backgrounds, and languages.
From a young age, I was passionate about science and medicine. While in medical school, I developed an interest in dermatology through various projects on sun-induced skin cancers and mosquito borne infections. Later, I also had the opportunity to help treat patients with tropical skin diseases in Brazil and Colombia. The variety of my work and the people that I have the opportunity to interact with make my job enjoyable and fulfilling.
About my practice
I am a general dermatologist and provide care for members of all ages and skin conditions. Dermatology often comes with complex names of diagnoses and treatment options. Having something new and visible on your skin can also be frightening. As a doctor, it is my duty to be knowledgeable and compassionate to ensure the best possible care of my patients. I also try to empower our members with information and understanding so that they can make the best personal decisions for their dermatologic care.
How I thrive
One of my favorite things about Atlanta is that I can spend so much time outdoors. I love everything from lounging around in the shade to rollerblading along the Beltline. Another passion of mine is dancing. While I have danced hip-hop and tap since I was 5 years old, my passion for different cultures has led me to discover dances from around the world such as salsa (Colombia), samba (Brazil), and flamenco (Spain).
