Where I practice
About me
I grew up in Florida, but have called Georgia home for many years. I worked in the public health field for almost a decade before changing directions and pursuing my passion for women's health and midwifery. I have experience in public health policy, laboratory science, and research, and I bring those skills to my practice as a midwife. I also worked as a labor and delivery nurse while completing my midwifery training and so enjoyed those years as a hospital-based RN! I completed my public health training at the University of Georgia and then my nursing and midwifery training at Emory University here in Atlanta. My family and I live in the city with our dog, and we all enjoy being outdoors and hiking together.
About my practice
As a midwife, I am passionate about providing inclusive, open, and accessible support to people across their lifespan while embracing the midwifery model. I value collaborative decision-making and education as essential elements of my practice. I always strive to offer a supportive and empowering experience tailored to each individual's needs. My particular interests include family planning and contraception education, childbirth education, and LGBTQ+ affirming services. I believe that when providers work in partnership with their patients, we can improve outcomes both individually and within the broader community. It is an honor to support people during such meaningful moments in their lives.
How I thrive
I try to find balance between work and play to keep my mind healthy, engaged, and ready to care for people. I love to read, hike, and travel to keep my brain and body happy. My family especially loves the beautiful variety of restaurants in Atlanta, and I enjoy cooking new dishes to try at home as well.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
