About me
I am from the Dominican Republic, and I was raised in a family where love was the centerpiece. I became a doctor at very young age, and I spent several years of my life in New York. It was a wonderful experience and living there opened my eyes to cultural diversity. I was trained in a program focusing on social medicine where caring for the needy was a priority. I believe that everyone deserves quality health care.
About my practice
In the Ambulatory Medicine Department, our goal is to care for the patient as a whole. Our team is committed to caring, understanding and trying as much as we can to make each member's visit a productive and pleasurable experience. I love to spend time educating our members so they can make better decisions about their health. I try to get to know my patients, which helps me understand their needs and builds a relationship with them as their health care provider. Most of the time, I learn that my patients and I have many things in common!
How I thrive
I believe that health is a combination of physical, emotional and mental health. I try to make as many healthy eating choices as I can each day. I also practice kindness every day. Sometimes I have to choose between being right or being kind, and I choose to be kind. I read spiritual books. I watch fun movies. I sing loud in the shower. I pray. I am a soccer fan. I love gardening as it keeps me in touch with nature and helps me remember each day that the simple things are free. I spend a great deal of time with my loved ones, and I travel to different countries to explore other cultures. I think it is so wonderful to see how other people thrive!

If no plan types are listed, the facility is available for all plan types.
Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
