Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Female
Yes, I’m accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I grew up in southern Arizona, but have been in the Atlanta area for over 24 years. I attended Rice University, where I learned to love a losing football team. My master's degree is from University of Houston-Clear Lake and my doctorate degree is from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, where I taught until joining Kaiser Permanente in August 2017.
I became interested in psychology in high school and found I enjoyed assessment while in my master's program. I love trying to figure out what makes people tick!
My specialty is neuropsychological assessment, which means I assess the behavioral aspect of the brain's functioning. Thus, in my assessments, we explore your attention, memory, spatial skills, language ability, motor functioning and problem solving. This allows me to provide recommendations to you and your doctors to use your strengths to address any weaknesses you may have cognitively.
You are my most important ally in figuring out what is going on in your brain. Please feel free to let me know your concerns, fears and your opinion of what is happening.
I thrive by exercising, dog walking, cooking and socializing. My favorite activity is laughing so I enjoy stand up comedians and all types of comedy. I am a sucker for a bad pun and like a good pun even better!
