About Me

I grew up in California, attended medical school in Oregon, then completed residency and fellowship at University of Colorado. The next five years as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine were a great experience, but one of the important lessons I learned was that I am not a life long New Yorker. Coming back to Colorado in 2010 was a move back to a better way of life and joining Kaiser Permanente was a move into a better way of practicing medicine. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022.

About my practice

As an Interventional Radiologist I have the opportunity to use the latest technologies to provide minimally invasive treatments that get patients back to their lives as quickly as possible. I am able to treat a variety of conditions from uterine fibroids, liver cancer, biliary diseases, to vascular disease while avoiding the pain and recovery time of major surgeries.

How I thrive

I thrive by balancing the seriousness of my work with travelling the world with my wife and capturing those experiences in photographs. Wildlife photography is my favorite subject, from humming birds in California, raptors here in Colorado to the lions of Africa and the Urangotans of Borneo. I am also an avid chef, mediocre skier, and dedicated Ducati motorcycle rider.
