About Me

Hello and welcome to my Web page. I’m a cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I’m happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you. It’s important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me better.

Biography

I was born in Oklahoma, but grew up here in a suburb of Los Angeles. My education has taken me first to Stanford University for college, and then to the East Coast, where I went to Harvard Medical School. California, though, has always been and always will be my home. I returned to California for my internal medicine and cardiology training. I’m happy to now be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family.

About my practice

I’m a general cardiologist with advanced training in noninvasive imaging—particularly echocardiography, nuclear cardiac imaging, and cardiac CT. These are technologies we can use to better evaluate the structure of the heart and how it’s functioning. I’ve also studied at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health because of my special interest in improving our health care system.

How I thrive

I live well by loving life and making sure it stays in balance. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I try to take advantage of all that Southern California has to offer. You can find me jogging along the beach, playing tennis (even in the winter!), or cooking a warm meal with food from a local farmer's market. At work, I find balance not only from working with members like you, but also from teaching medical students and residents.
