About Me

I was born and raised in South Dakota but I have lived in Colorado since the mid 1980s. I enjoy the outdoors, the people of Colorado and the practice of medicine. My wife, my children and I have a strong compassion for caring for people. I love my work at Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I am an Internist who specialized in Allergy/Immunology.I continue to help innovate new more effective ways to deliver the best value in healthcare. Our Allergy Department is a cohesive forward looking group that values quality allergy care in a timely and courtious fashion. We care for patients with allergies/asthma/immune system problems/drug reactions and adminster allergy injections. I am using our electronic medical record and information technology to start providing telemedicine care for patients in distant clinics. Most notably I have been described as a passionate patient advocate. My home office is Rock Creek Medical Offices. Additionally, I see patients at the Frisco Medical Offices.

How I thrive

To thrive I think it is important to balance work and hobbies with family life. My wife and I have raised 2 children in Denver and continue to be involved in their lives as best we can. We try to model compassion and caring in our lives and find that practice to be very rewarding. I believe in a healthy mind and body and good relationships with my family and friends. Despite being an allergist I have 3 pets whom I treat as family.I truely love animals and this planet we inhabit. I am nearly old enough to retire but I will continue to work at Kaiser Permanente because I believe in our mission to transform the face of this world's healthcare to a more caring/effective business that improves people's lives and sense of well being.
