About Me

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and moved to Colorado in 1994 with my husband and two children. I was in private practice for two years and then joined Colorado Permanente Medical Group in 1996. I have now been a pediatrician for more than 30 years, which I find hard to believe. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching my patients grow up over the years I have cared for them.

About my practice

I chose to be a pediatrician because I love working with children and their families. I enjoy getting to know my patients and families and love to hear about their interests and dreams. Pediatricians are in a unique position to help prevent many chronic diseases because we are able to influence our patients at a young age to lead healthy lifestyles and to make good decisions when it comes to their health. I strive to help patients care about their health as much as I do so that they will take the initiative to make good choices when it comes to taking care of themselves.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending free time with family and friends. I am an avid dog lover and currently have two crazy French bulldogs who are very high-maintenance. I love to read all types of books and enjoy going to the theatre. I exercise regularly and enjoy lifting weights and doing Pilates. It helps to maintain energy and relaxation.
