About Me

I am originally from upstate New York and moved out to Colorado for my undergraduate degree. I received my degree from Colorado State University with a major in anatomy/physiology. I attended the physician assistant program at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. The focus of the program was primary care, and it was a great foundation. I returned to Colorado after graduating, and settled down in Denver with my husband and our golden retriever, Gus.

About my practice

I choose to enter primary care because of the relationships you can cultivate with patients. I believe the better I know a patient, the better I am able to provide the best care for them. I believe shared decision making, between myself and the patient, is the best way to practice medicine. I am happy to see all ages, and regularly perform procedures including laceration repair, skin biopsies and toe nail removals. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients' care. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of a patient's health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer my patient's questions.

How I thrive

I enjoy the many outdoor activities available in Colorado including camping, hiking, kayaking, and biking. I have recently taken up gardening, and despite never having a green thumb in the past, I hope to be successful in growing my own vegetables and herbs.
