What is urgent care?

A care need that isn't an emergency but can't wait for routine (nonurgent) visits. Examples include:

  • Abdominal (belly) pain
  • Breathing problems
  • Cuts and minor injuries
  • Rashes and other urgent skin problems
  • Sore throats, earaches, or coughs
  • Urinary problems
