About me
I was born and raised in New York City, the middle daughter in a family with three girls. I attended a large public magnet high school, and it is during these years that I decided I wanted to be a doctor. I went to college in Boston, then went off to snowy Buffalo, N.Y. to attend medical school. After graduating, I returned to New York City to complete my residency and specialty training. Once my training was complete, I decided to break out of New York and head to Atlanta, where I got my first job at Emory University in the Division of Infectious Diseases. I have lived in Atlanta ever since.
About my practice
Infections are an extremely common cause of illness. As an infectious disease specialist, I am often consulted when patients have a fever of unclear cause, or when they have an unusual, complicated or recurrent infection. I see patients of all ages, from all walks of life and with an incredible range of issues. Even after more than 20 years of practicing as an infectious disease specialist, I continue to find this field fascinating, challenging and rewarding.
How I thrive
When I am not working as a doctor, I am busy taking care of my three kids and husband. I love to cook, which is convenient because my children are always hungry! Some of my favorite pastimes are visiting my extended family in New York City and Paris, as well as travelling and discovering new places, customs and foods. I also enjoy working with my hands, especially drawing and painting. I love visiting museums and can honestly say that the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is one of my favorite places to hang out!

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process.
