About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a master's degree in social work from University of Georgia. Raised in the greater Atlanta area, I was drawn to the field of therapy by a desire to help people recognize their own inner strengths and resilience.
I believe that many of the answers we seek already exist within us, and that people do not need to be "fixed." Rather, they benefit from support, guidance, and space for self-discovery. My approach is grounded in the belief that a person's worth is not defined by their job, financial status, relationships, appearance, or accomplishments. What we do reflects aspects of our experience, but it does not determine who we are at our core.
About my practice
With a deep commitment to fostering emotional well-being, I use a solution-focused approach to therapy, combining the most effective therapeutic techniques to meet each individual's unique needs. My therapeutic training includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and client-centered therapy, all of which I tailor to suit the emotional needs of our members. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel heard and understood while processing their experience.
My extensive experience spans a variety of therapeutic settings, including private practice and substance use treatment and medical environments. My work is primarily focused on supporting children, teens, and adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use, self-esteem, and the difficulties that arise during major life transitions. My approach emphasizes empowerment, helping individuals develop the skills to navigate life's challenges and create meaningful, positive change. With my warm, empathetic approach, I create a therapeutic environment where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.
How I thrive
I nurture my well-being and personal growth through a balance of mind, body, and nature. Teaching yoga allows me to ground myself and others in presence and self-awareness, gardening connects me to the rhythms of the earth and brings a sense of peace and renewal, and exercise empowers me to build resilience, strength, and confidence. Together, these practices help me thrive by keeping me centered, energized, and connected to both myself and the world around me.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-232-4404, seven days a week, 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.
If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
