I was born and raised in Greenville, S.C., and I spent the majority of my life living in and around South Carolina prior to moving to Georgia for residency. I chose to practice medicine because it combines two of my favorite things, which are science and human interaction.
About my practice
I am a member of our Kaiser Permanente Ambulatory Medicine Department. As a primary care physician, my focus is on the prevention of chronic diseases by emphasizing the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and making smart dietary choices.
How I thrive
Staying active each day helps me thrive. One of my passions in life is exercise and physical fitness, so I always find time for the gym throughout the week. My main outlet for exercise is CrossFit, and I have been participating in this type of exercise since I was in medical school. Beyond that, I enjoy keeping my mind active through reading, listening and playing music and enjoying visual and performing arts.
