Monique M. Lee, MD
I speak: English
My gender: Female
Where I practice
I was born and raised in Nashville, Tenn., and I graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta. I chose to become a family medicine physician as I was inspired by the idea of being able to interact with and serve people of all ages.
I have been in clinical practice since 2003. I have spent most of my clinical practice in community health, where I serviced a small city in southeast Virginia for over 10 years. I was the first physician at that location to be recognized for quality with the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) certification.
About my practice
The Department of Ambulatory Medicine is often the first stop for patients as we strive to provide primary care in an efficient and effective manner. I am able to partner with our members in providing thorough and well-addressed medical care as well as prevention education. I enjoy being able to have direct access to patients not only by the traditional office visit, but also through communication via kp.org.
How I thrive
I thrive through my blessings of being a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I enjoy spending time with family and going to new and fun local places that excite my kids. I absolutely love college basketball and in particular, March Madness each spring!
