Where I practice
I originally hail from New Jersey and New York, but have lived in Atlanta for a number of years. I have always been interested in psychology and knew that I wanted to be a clinical psychologist from the time I was in college. Having the opportunity to witness others take the risk towards growth in their lives is part of why I love the work I do. My professional life has been a combination of clinical work, training and instruction. All have played a valuable part of my growth, both personally and professionally.
About my practice
I see myself as part of a team and community that is focused on offering the best of ourselves in the work we do. My approach to clinical work is to create a safe and secure space that invites the opportunity for those to work on making changes that will enhance their lives and encourage the best within them.
How I thrive
Mindfulness has become an integral part of how I think about myself and how I approach others in my world. In both my personal and professional identities, holistic care is something I highly value. Therefore, I take every chance that comes my way to be active whether it is skateboarding, attending science fiction conventions, reading, running or going to see a good action movie with friends. I also like to balance my active side with quiet time for meditation and listening to music.
