Where I practice
About me
I grew up in a small town in Central Florida where I was able to experience the blessing of being part of a close-knit community. From there I attended a private college in South Carolina where I spent summers working at a camp that served teens and adults with special needs. As a psychology major, I was able to explore and discover how powerful and necessary healthy relationships are for navigating the challenges and celebrations of life. I spent six years on the West Coast working on my graduate studies and was changed by experiencing different cultures and perspectives. Throughout my development, I have always been inspired and challenged to continue growing because of the impact of other human beings and their stories. It is in the context of relationships that I have been able to learn more about my own values and beliefs.
About my practice
I believe therapy is a place to feel safe, secure, and seen. The stressors we all experience can make us feel overwhelmed or lost and we may feel powerless when it comes to change. Having a compassionate, objective person to walk alongside you through a hard relationship or experience can slowly build the resilience and courage you need to keep growing. I work with individuals (adolescents and adults) but utilize a systemic approach to always consider the whole family. At our core, we are all relational beings. My specializations are in grief, parenting, boundaries, relationships, and identity development.
How I thrive
We go through many seasons in life, and when I reflect on how I thrive, I am reminded that I am most fulfilled when I am integrating mind, body, and spirit. I grew up in a very musical family and have always been involved in musical groups and choirs. I feel most like myself when I am at a music festival with friends and family, connecting with life through a creative experience. I also hold a deep curiosity for other cultures and experience inspiration when I can travel and learn more about people and places different from myself. I believe that when we are genuinely curious and compassionate towards others we experience connection and community in the truest form.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
