About me
I was raised in Stuart, Fla. and grew up as a swimming, track and field, and competitive cheerleading athlete. I attended University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. for my undergraduate studies in health sciences. Following graduation, I went on to earn my associates degree in physical therapist assistant studies from Herzing University and I practiced at a orthopedic sports medicine clinic. I attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University in Orlando. I was fortunate enough to provide missionary relief to those in Guatemala, and I hope to return one day. Upon completion of my physician assistant (PA) training, I completed a one-year formal fellowship in emergency medicine in the Orlando area. I have additional training in inpatient cardiology as well.
My journey into medicine was largely influenced by my mother. I have had enormous exposure to many facets of health care since early childhood. I have a compassion for helping others return to the things that bring them joy.
About my practice
I am a member of the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedics Department. My role as a PA in the clinic is to see, evaluate and treat our members with general orthopedic concerns. I can review and read x-rays and order tests or imaging. I am able to perform injections, as well as casting and splinting for our members.
How I thrive
In order to achieve a sense of wholehearted living, I thrive to balance my work and personal life. I ultimately aim for shared decision making during my encounters with members. I am blessed to call myself a Mama and enjoy every minute of parenthood. We also have two dogs, Ellie Mae and Peyton. In our spare time, we enjoy hiking and camping as a family.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
